Frequent Questions

How can I get involved at the state, local, and tribal government level?

State, local, and tribal governments that have jurisdiction over particular Superfund cleanup sites are always involved with every step of the Superfund assessment, cleanup, and maintenance procedures. Often, in fact, these governments take the lead on site cleanups while Superfund and EPA staff serve as support and resources, when needed.
