Frequent Questions

What is a Community Advisory Group (CAG)?

Residents who live near a Superfund site may sometimes form a Community Advisory Group (CAG), a community organization whose sole purpose is to be involved in the decisions regarding the cleanup site. CAG represent the citizens who are affected by the hazardous waste and by the cleanup, so it is their responsibility to serve as liaisons between the community and Superfund representatives.
